Manhole Form Hire’s heavy duty pit boxes are perfect for helping you create access chambers to house risers, pumps, and filters, to create retention basins and protect other critical items of plumbing hardware.


Our heavy duty pit boxes are comprised of 1.5 H panels and corners of varying lengths. They also have the ability to offset individual wall panels for different sizes of inlet and outlet pipes and the ability to build protrusions and recesses into the structure.


These large pit box options can also accommodate the hydrostatic forces and deflection expected at 3.0 H with up to a 300mm wall as specified in AS 4100-1990 Steel Structures when concrete is placed in accordance with AS 1170.1-2002 SAA Loading Code. Our heavy-duty pit boxes now come in 900H. That enables combinations of 900H and 1500H to achieve 900, 1500, 1800, 2400, 2700 and 3000H.
